A FLIGHT attendant has shared the three things you should never do on a plane.
So if you’re jetting away for Christmas, or are treating yourself to a trip abroad in the New Year, you’ll need to listen up and pay attention.
According to Miva, a flight attendant, “too many people still do these things” – so have you been making these gross mistakes?
It turns out that you should never go to the toilet on a plane when wearing just socks, or even worse barefoot, and after reading this, you won’t want to lean your head against the window ever again.
Posting on social media, Miva shared her travel advice, as she said: “Three things you should never do on a plane.”
She then revealed why you must never use deodorant or hairspray, as she claimed it “could trigger the smoke detector in the lavatory.”
As well as this, shared why you won’t want to rest your head against the window, as she claimed “they are very rarely cleaned.”
Finally, according to this airline worker, you won’t want to go to the lavatory with socks or barefoot, as according to her, “the water on the floor was not used for cleaning.”
So if you’ve got plans to get on a plane any time soon, you’ll need to make notes if you want to avoid germs and ensure that you don’t get on the workers’ nerves.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mrsmiva, was shared just one day ago, but has quickly amassed a whopping 76,100 views.
But social media users were left with a variety of questions, which many took to the comments to express.
One person said: “Is the headrest any cleaner than the window though?”
Another added: “But how am I supposed to sleep?”
A third commented: “Who runs barefoot?”
Not only should you never do these things when on a plane, but a former flight attendant has also revealed the four things that travellers did that she and her colleagues couldn’t stand.
Earlier this year, Kat Kamalani, who worked as cabin crew for six years, shared her traveller ‘icks’, as she advised customers ‘don’t do this when travelling.’
Not only would Kat get grossed out, like Miva, when people would go to the toilet without their shoes or socks, but she also expressed: “When someone handed you a poopy diaper or a barf bag and you didn’t have a garbage can with you, and they expected you to grab it with their hands.”
Not only this, but she also explained that she couldn’t stand it when in turbulence or about to land the plane and people ring the call light button.
